Really Red Smoothie

Personally, I don’t do that many smoothies for no other reason than I just don’t! But every time I make one I really enjoy and wonder why I don’t have them more often!

Blending fruit and veggies into a smoothie is a much better option than using a juicer as often the pulp of the fruit and veg gets left out if juicing and you miss out on fibre. Fibre helps with gut health and also helps to keep you fuller for longer so if you’re using smoothies as a meal you really don’t want to miss out on that.

This smoothie is packed full of nutrients like vitamin c, folate, manganese, vitamin a, potassium, fibre and packed full of antioxidants known as polyphenols. And thats just from the fruit and veg. It also contains calcium and healthy fats such as omega-3s which help protect out hearts and our brains.

What does this all mean? IT IS SOOO GOOD FOR US!!!
